Companies such as Zydus Lifesciences and Biocon are among the most active, with programs targeting semaglutide launches across emerging markets and longer-term entry into regulated markets once exclusivities lift
However, its not for everyone
By being custom-made, "[compounded drugs] can be risky for patients, as unapproved versions do not undergo FDA's review for safety, effectiveness and quality before they are marketed," the issue said
